Products for RNA modification research
The reagent side of RNA modification work: PCR-array panels that profile the expression of the enzymes and protein factors acting on modified RNA, for laboratories that want the enzyme side of the epitranscriptome in their own hands.
01What this section covers
Products are the tools that stay in your own laboratory. Services measure modifications in samples we process; the entries here are panels and reagents that you run yourself, which is why they are kept in a separate section.
The panels here report how much of each writer, reader or eraser is expressed: the readout is gene expression, one assay per modifier gene, not the modification level of any RNA. Only the panels that speak directly to RNA modification work are listed; preparation reagents that other suppliers also offer have been taken out of this section.
02Choose a product group
The panel page lists each product with a short description and a direct link to the product page on arraystar.com, where catalog numbers and sizes are maintained.
03Arrays belong to the service lines
A product array reports the expression of the enzymes and protein factors that act on RNA. A service array reports the modification level of the transcripts on the chip. Only the second one tells you how much m6A, m5C or Ψ a target carries, so modification arrays are listed under Services.
Both are offered, in different places on purpose: a reagent order and a service inquiry are handled as two different things, and the portal keeps them apart.
04Where the products sit in a project
Epitranscriptomic machinery
The epitranscriptomics panel reads the expression of writers, readers and erasers acting on mRNA marks, which is the first view of a regulatory change in a sample set.
tRNA modification machinery
The tRNA panel reads the enzymes that install and remove tRNA modifications, for work that connects a modification phenotype to the machinery behind it.
Expression, not modification level
Both panels are qPCR arrays run in your own laboratory. What they report is how much of each modifier gene is expressed; the modification itself is measured by a service.
05FAQ
Which panel fits a study on mRNA modifications?
The NuRNA™ Epitranscriptomics PCR Array (H). It profiles the expression of the enzymes and protein factors validated or predicted for mRNA epitranscriptomic marks, covering writers, readers and erasers in one run, so a sample series can be read on the regulatory side of several marks at once.
Which panel fits work on tRNA modifications?
The NuRNA™ tRNA Modification Enzymes PCR Array (H). It reads the expression of the enzymes that install and remove tRNA modifications, which is the machinery side of a tRNA modification phenotype rather than the modification level itself. Read next to a tRNA modification measurement, it shows whether the machinery behind the phenotype moved with it.
Are catalog numbers and prices listed in this portal?
No. The portal describes what each product is for and links to the product page on arraystar.com, where catalog numbers, sizes and prices are maintained. Keeping that detail in one place means the figures you read there are current rather than a copy that falls out of step. If a listing question blocks a decision, ask through the request form.
Can a service project and a reagent order be started together?
Yes. They can be raised in the same round of contact, using the request button on the entry you are interested in. The two are handled as separate things on purpose: a reagent order is a product that ships to your laboratory, while a service project is scoped, quoted and run in ours.
Why are preparation kits and primer sets no longer listed?
They were taken out of this section because the link to RNA modification was indirect: the same reagents and primer sets serve many other kinds of RNA work. What remains here is the pair of panels that read modification machinery directly, and they can be ordered through the request form.
