Using Arraystar Human circRNA microarray, the circular RNA expression in peripheral blood specimens from CRC patients was profiled. circALG1 was found highly expressed in both peripheral blood and tumour tissues and associated with CRC metastasis. Furthermore, circALG1 up-regulates placental growth factor (PGF) via binding to miR-342-5p, which is enhanced by m6A modification. circALG1 has the potentials as a CRC prognostic marker and a therapeutic target.
