R-Loops: An active player in transcription control

Thu, Sep 8, 2022 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM EDT [Register]
Wed, Sep 14, 2022 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM EDT [Register]

R-loop is an RNA:DNA three-stranded hybrid loop structure formed during nascent RNA transcription. R-loops are often located in the promoters or transcription stop sites and have important biological functions in gene regulation, DNA replication, and epigenomic modifications. In particular, lncRNAs in the R-loops are active components in the R-loop gene regulation activities. Genome-wide R-loop profiling by DRIP-seq, along with epigenomic and transcriptomic profiling, is an effective way to understand R-loops in the biological working of your system.

This webinar will cover:
• What are the R-loops
• The active gene regulation roles by R-loops
• lncRNAs and mRNAs in the R-loops
• Genome-wide R-loop profiling by DRIP-seq
• Roadmap of R-loop profiling and research.
